If it is proven that the King Louis XIV stayed, with ease, at the Château de la Rivière, legend has it that it was this room that was made available to him.
Closer to us, the estate having had several lives, many legends of French cinema have stayed intensively at the castle in general, and in the King's bedroom in particular. Place of relaxation and work, of preparation and consultation, of inspiration and creation, Michel Audiard there were his habits.
Let us like to believe that his best dialogues were born from a night in the royal bedroom.

A carefully restored room
We wish to restore all its former luster and glory to Château de La Rivière.
We have made it a point of honor to create a room that meets all the modern criteria of luxury accommodation, whilst recreating a period atmosphere. Furniture and decorations are the fruit of passionate historical research whose aesthetics in no way sacrifice comfort.
We hope that your stay at the Château will be a unique interlude in which you will enjoy letting yourself go.

Meals are served in the Aligre lounge from 8 p.m. on an individual table
We offer two options:
“Gourmet” table d’hôte at 48€ per adult, 24€ per child up to 10 years old,
Wines and spirits are on the menu
This menu includes a starter, a main course, cheese and a dessert.
“Countryside” table d’hôte at 28€ per adult, 18€ per child up to 10 years old,

This menu includes cold meats, salad, cheese and dessert.
In the summer, we offera picnic to take away at €19 per person. All our dishes are entirely homemade using fresh produce. Dishes can be adapted according to intolerances or specifications following your request.
The table d'hôtes must be reserved no later than 48 hours in advance.
